Molding
Is it the way I am doing it or is this a problem. When I have an upper cabinet and I plan to put a finished end panel on one end of the cabinet. I go to the face frame allow a left or right scribe of .75 to move the end gable inwards. The problem comes when I try to add the upper crown. It installs next to the gable and not the style. I understand why because it is a scribe, and I under stand that I can allow a left or right scribe on the front molding to bring it out flush with the end of the style, but other than bringing the side moldings in manually, how do you offset the side molding to line up with the scribed front molding? I know how to do this the hard way manually, but there has to be an easier way that I am overlooking.

No simple way to do this. It would be a nice fix to not have to manually place these molding. To me it would be easier to be able to apply the moldings and if you want to inset the side gables be able to go into settings and inset the sides, rather than having to do the scribe thing with the faceframe.

I like that idea Kerry.
I have a directory of just moldings that I can run just like the cabinets all the way around the room.. Left ends, right ends straight runs. Even the corner cabinets.
It makes it a little easier for me.
But with the new and improved... look out moon.
