trouble shooting ??
I am new to the software. I have created a couple of really basic/simple designs. I am trying a new one and I am having troubles selecting an area to add a door.
I have done it before, and I am afraid I am just being clueless!!!
I am working with an assembly. I start in the main area. Select the cabinet, go to door designer. My cabinet stays highlighted and I cannot select a specific area to add a door. It will add a door, but only to the entire cabinet. I only want it in a particular area.
I have rebooted and still no help!
Any help would be wonderful as I am suposed to have this design yesterday.
Thanks
ps you guys do some amazing things, I can't wait to do half of what I see on here.

I am trying to highlight the area I want the door to go on and it won't let me. The cabinet stay highlighted green. When I try to click on the area I want to add the door to it does nothing.Joseph Fusco wrote:gaynelle,
You need to give the software a defined boundary for where you what the door to be. If you have a cabinet with a fixed shelf in the middle, you can place two doors on it. If the shelf in the middle is adjustable, the software will only put one door on the whole box.
FYI-same thing happens in the shelf/partition editor.

Re:
yep...did that and I have those buttons. it will let me add a door that is the entire height of the cabinet. It won't let me select the lower sections to add doors down there.DanEpps wrote:Make sure you go into the Door/Drawer Editor after selecting one of the cabinets in the assembly.
