Duplicating a cabinet didn't exactly work out

Post by Donald Thomson »

I've attached a job and a picture of a kitchen I'm working on. I selected the cabinet over top of the range and said duplicate to the left. After going through a bunch of error dialogs it finally finished and gave the results in the picture. Notice the "thing" hanging out the the left of the cabinet that was duplicated. I have not been able to delete this appendage.

I don't think this is normal...

One more note - the appendage does not go away in presentation mode. It's going to be tough showing this to the client... :(

Thermwood - could you help me get rid of this appendage so I can show my client?

Don,

I would post the second job. I bet that fix is not something you can do with just the software.

Well, I guess the easiest way to fix it in the current version is too:

1. draw a wall in the job big enough to place 3 cabinets
2. place std base frameless on each end of the wall, then place one in the center of the wall
3. select the center cabinet and choose expand to fill

the appendage should disapper.

4. delete the cabinets and wall you just created.
5. Save the job.

I'm glad it worked. This was just a work around. A bug has been found and will be fixed in the next build.
