I create a new cabinet from the standard cabinets and then save it in a job library. When I next open that library and click on that cabinet, it will cause ecabinets to close unexpectedly. This also happens when I am in an existing room layout and want to modify a placed cabinet by opening the editor. Any ideas?
Christopher, is it one cabinet in particular or all from that library? Also check the save path. This is what they should be:
for XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Thermwood\eCabinet Systems\cabinets
For Vista/Win7: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Thermwood\eCabinet Systems\cabinets
The problem continues after ecabinets shutdown and/or whole system shutdown. I might get it to work 1 in 10 tries and it seems to be random. I have taken to starting with the standard cabinet each time I start a job, so I do not think it is an ongoing library error.
Could this be some sort of display card error?
The other thought I had was to use the restore settings part of ecabinets.
I updated the card. I seem to be able to regain the use of the editor in normal fashion. Interestingly, some of the cabinets in the quick test layout I made pre-update will move into editor, but I cannot manipulate them. Other cabinets work fine.
Thank you for the help. I'll see if things are back to normal this coming week.
