I'm creating a cabinet that will be used at a point of sale area for a retail store. The cabinet doors/drawers will face the clerk and the "back" will face the customer. My client wants slatwall on the back. We typically just purchase sheets of slatwall, cut them to size in the field and install. This is no problem and we'll most likely continue this practice. However, the client would like to see this detail inside eCab' when I present the design.
So, I don't necessarily need to create slatwall in eCab' as if I'm going to cut it from scratch... I just need to display it.
Would it be easier to simply model the slatwall in another system and import .STL files and make them Display Objects? Or should I try to actually create something within eCab'
Keep in mind I've only been using the software here and there for a few months so I'm very green.
Hi Heath
I had a play with this and created a back and applied some part editor cuts with a mockup slatwall cutter.
It is a 2400mm x 1200mm with 100mm spacing
I have not applied any constraints
I found I could resize the width no problem and height.
If you make the height smaller then larger you loose the cuts. So you just need to reload the original back.
Don't machine this part from my mockup but I think you could set it up fairly easily.
See how you go.

Hello all
I have different bead board in my display objects that I got from the 3D files. It has been there for quite a while and you can scale it. I would post it if I knew how, but you should be able to get it if you search for bead board in the 3D files. Thank you to whoever made it.
