I have a cabinet that when you use the crown editor area won't put the corners of the crown together. The problem happens because I have face frame offsets for the side pc of plywood. This puts the plywood side in from the edge of the cabinet by 3/4". Then there is a panel that is applied on the plywood making it flush the the edge of the FF.
But the return pc of crown stays following the plywood. I can't get this crown to push out and look like it is wrapped around the panel. It is sunk inside it.
I can adjust the scribe of the front pc of crown to make that look correct, but not the return. That only has scribe functions for front and rear.
Am I forced to apply a pc of crown manually there? Or am I missing something?
If you need it for looks, then yes, your best option is a display molding. If you did not need it for looks, it is the correct size already, just positioned over by the face frame scribe.
