Re: Line Drawing Editor issues
Tony,
Seems what is going on is you have used Reverse Build Direction on the wall. You can see this by creating a simple wall, select Wall Options->Reverse Build Direction, place a cabinet on the front side of the wall, then take to LDE. It will come in backwards as you described.
So this is an ...

Re: Line Drawing Editor issues
Tony,
I was curious if you could still post a sample job showing this behavior. I just want to make sure it gets corrected if there is a problem.
Thanks.
Here you go, I had to delete 2 walls of cabinets to make the file small enough to send - but if you try to take the remaining cabinet wall ...

Re: Line Drawing Editor issues
It was created in Version 6. I will try to post it. Thanks!Kerry Fullington wrote:Tony,
This was an issue during Beta Testing of V6 but I don't see it in the release of Version 6. Post your job so they can take a look at it.
Is this a job created in V6 or brought forward from V5.2?

Re: Line Drawing Editor issues
I can't even do that, all I see is the back side of the wall in the line drawing. If I highlight the entire wall, I can click on the command to number the cabinets, and the numbers will show on the back side of the wall but I can't see any of the cabinets, and there is no way to reverse the view or ...

Line Drawing Editor issues
I haven't been on this forum for quite a while, had a hard time remembering what my username and password was! Anyway, I drew up a kitchen and while trying to take walls to the line drawing editor 2 of the 3 went in reversed, with the back side of the wall showing. All of the walls are drawn the ...

Been a while - Help!
I have been away from the board for a while, had to take a job at another shop for a while to catch up on bills, but I am back building again. I just got the new 5.2, and while messing around I unpinned the options dialog menu from my screen, how do I get it back??????

Re: Custom Moldings
Kerry, that would have made the assembly much easier. I basically made a door frame with the lower rail wider, and rearranged my shaper cutters to make the rabbet for the mirror. My bead/quirk is on the outside (actually a separate piece of trim glued on), and the shaper cutter makes the quarter ...

Re: Shaker Pegs
The crazy thing was, when I did it exactly as the help menu stated, it wouldn't work, kept getting error messages or it wouldn't do anything. Finally made my display cube bigger than I needed and it worked. Go figger..........

Re: Custom Moldings
So, since my mirror frame is actually a face frame anyway, I would have to make another faceframe into my bead detail, save it, and bring it into the mirror file and add it to the mirror? Since I am just learning this software, I made the mirror out of a faceframe since it was the easiest. However ...

Shaker Pegs
So as you can tell, I do a lot of weird stuff besides cabinets. The hall mirror I built for my kids for Christmas has mini shaker pegs to hang keys on, does anyone know if you can create those in this program or import them form something else? The mirrors are already done, but I would like to have ...
