I did the latest update and now all of the hardware that I entered with prices and such are gone, plus all of the materials are missing as well. Oye.
Any ideas Larry?

Re: Build 11
Ugh. That is what is happening. I loaded the update yesterday, and when I went to use it today it won't open. It seems it can't find any of the related data files like stringtable.mdb, ecabinets.mdb, softdata.mdb, ecabinets.ini and so on.

Re: 'No more memory available' error?
I have been having memory issues ever since I setup Windows 7 64bit on my computer. I am regularly (at least once a day) running out of memory with 6G of RAM installed. Either Windows 7 has problems, or the applications I am running are having problems dealing with Windows 7. It appears to be some ...

Re: Using ecabinets for closets
Hey John,
Since you are now using a CNC to mill the closet parts, and you are using one vertical panel between sections; do you do flip-ops for these, or do you just drill straight through for the RTA and shelf holes?
Thanks,
Joe

Re: Now that the dust has settled, How do you like V6?
Well, I think V6 is an improvement over Version 5, but of course I always want more. I would like to get rid of the excess baggage, like the Proposal Writer.
So, what else do I want now? Here are a few things from my wish list...
1) Get rid of the colored cabinets and stuff. I liked having ...

I think you are going to have to either post your job or give us a bit more detailed info for what caused your problem. I just tried to duplicate this and had no problems.

Re: Profiling in the Part Editor
Actually Kerry, I have also done what you do with the tool profiles being setup such that I don't need to adjust their height. I wish one of the Thermwood guys would chime in to let us know how exactly these get used with the machines. I do have stuff milled on Thermwood machines, so I would like to ...

Re: Profiling in the Part Editor
I am confused Kerry. I am assuming that you read the Help Manual for these topics, and most of what you asked seems to be pretty well explained in there. The Help Manual sections on "Part Editor - Tool Selection" and "Part Editor - Profile Edge" seem to cover most of the questions you asked. Am I ...

I noticed the problem as well when I tried to put an edge profile on the bottom side of a countertop.

Re: Catalog Cabinets not working properly
Kerry,
When I did my original test I just took a cabinet from the Standard directory. Saving one of those as a catalog cabinet will generate the correct Selling Price. It appears that the bug is that if you are using hardware in a catalog cabinet hardware costs are erroneously added to the Selling ...

Re: Catalog Cabinets not working properly
Well, the bottom line (Selling Price) seems to be correct, but it's not quite the kind of information that I would personally like to see. I would prefer to be able to have a Price per Cabinet listing for all of the catalog cabinets that are selected. I would not classify this as a bug, but maybe I ...

Re: Rafix with Dados?
Gary,
I use the Rafix parts all the time, so I am a bit confused as to why you would want to use them with dados. Using the Rafix parts aligns all of the connecting parts already. I use the Rafix with the 8mm brass inserts and machine type screws and they work great.

Re: How much time?
The software should be setup to allow changes to all files in a directory. It is pretty painful to change the settings for each cabinet in a library. At the very least there should be a check box in the Construction Settings dialog for "Apply Settings to Library" (right next to the OK button) that ...
