Part Editor
When trying to load a dxf file into PE to create a part ecabinets locks up. This same procedure is still working on my desktop which still has version 5 running. Anyone else tried this yet with version 6?
Everything else is running fine so far with version 6.

I don't seem to be able to load a dxf file. I get a note stating the dxf extension is not allowed. I can email it to you. The file I created was a simple 2

Rick,
I am not ignoring you I am having troubles with getting a activation code for Winzip. As soon as I get the code I will zip the file.
Thanks,
Dan

Dan,
Right click on your file then choose Send to then Compressed folder and that will zip it without winzip.

Kelly,
Here is the file. It is not anything in particular just something I created to practice making dxf files.

Re: Part Editor
I have no problems with the DXF file being overlayed on a part here.

Re: Part Editor
I too was able to use the dxf file on my computer with version 5 still installed it is only when I use it on my computer using version 6. I quess this eliminates the file as the problem. I must have a problem with the installation of version 6 however, everything else seems to be running fine. At least so far. Does anyone suggest that I try reinstalling version 6?
