Re: macbook pro and ecabinets
THanks for all the info. I went to the website for the build 7 for version5 and now can't open ecabinets. I keep getting the error message that the software has expired and to call technical support. I did call and had to leave a message so now I am posting here to see if I can resolve the issue ...

Re: macbook pro and ecabinets
Will upgrade to version 5.3 cause any problems I experienced when I upgraded to 6.0? I had to revert back to 5.2 because my computer couldn't handle the software. Also, what is an emulation program and what is the cost?

I am running on v5.2 right now on my Vista Gateway laptop and am told that the software will expire in 3 days. Now I am forced to upgrade but have been considering a mac for the last several years and am wondering if the software is compatible with macs. I've searched but can't seem to find a ...

Re: layout problems
OK I updated my driver but am having the same issue. When I go to layout the "What would you like to do" screen stays in the drawing area. Version 5 worked perfectly, almost, on this computer. What do I need to do? There has to be something I can do on this computer. I need to resolve this asap.

Re: layout problems
I have tried that and yes the menu goes away but now all I have is a black screen in the drawing area. I create wall as if they are being layed out. That is, I see the measurements on the left but still no walls. I never had this issue in version 5. Is this something with Vista? Please help I have a ...

layout problems
I just downloaded version 6 and am having issues with layout. I have vista 32-bit that I do run as administrator. The problem with layout is when I go to it, the drawing area still has the main menu in it. There is no grid or anything else. The start points adjust when I draw a wall but there is no ...

placing wall cabinets on countertops
I am trying to build an office and want the wall cabinets to sit atop the countertop but can't seem to figure it out. I've changed the standard wall cabinet placement height but that didn't seem to adjust. Also how do I put a countertop if there are no base cabinets to place the countertop on?

Shaker Doors
I was drawing up a kitchen and realized that there are no shaker doors/drawers to choose from. Am I overlooking that selection? I usually use the Contestoga doors but did not see shaker.

Re: Layout questions
I don't know because the measurements clearly show the outside of the room. When I configure cabinets to go in the room I make them so they fit exactly. I noticed this because I had say 10' of cabinets on a 10' wall and could not fit them in the space. Then I noticed that they were off by the ...

Layout questions
Is there a way to make the measurements of a wall to be on the inside of the room instead of outside? For example if I draw a wall say 12' long, another wall at a 90 degree 6' long it shows the length of the wall on the outside of the wall, now instead of drawing a 12' wall I now have to add 8" to ...

Corner Shelf
I don't know where to start in trying to build an end shelf. This is a shelf that is going to be placed at the end of run of wall cabinets and is rounded over. I don't know what to call these, I've just called them corner shelves but that is probably not the correct name. Basically, a 90 degree that ...

Rendering causes zoom in
When I have a job in layout and choose presentation view the size of the kitchen increases leaving out cabinets. If I position the kitchen in the middle of the screen it is in the size that I want but when I choose presentation view it zooms in. I've tried different things but could not accomplish ...
