Re: Ecabinets tips and tricks live stream

Hi Scott I am like Jeremy and open to general discussion on eCabs and how it is used and fits into other users business. I am curious / interested in the best / most efficient work systems and techniques and why or what’s the reason others do it that way. I think we are all so diversely separated by...

Re: Resuming after pausing question

Thanks for the reply Clint. I will pay closer attention to whats happening over the next few jobs. If you nest, write CNC from standard view I don't quite understand what you mean by this as I thought we could only nest from control nesting, but as I said I will try to pay closer attention and If I'...

Resuming after pausing question

We have that black little controller with a the pause button. When we press it, it gently pauses the cutting and comes up with a menu. Like replace tool, resume sheet from start,. (I am in the middle of cutting a job so I cant pull up the screen to check all the options) It seems to work fine when y...

Dificult to Part edit

Sometimes I waste hours in the part editor trying to get something stable. Take for instance the attached part. I spent about 3 hours tweaking and designing some corner floor doors that are 13mm thick. I needed to put a plug on the back so I could use Bifold corner hinges. 3 hours seems pretty fair ...

Re: eCabinets 6.2.11.1 update

Hi Clint. Thats a good idea to change all the doors in the directories. Deleting my door files was as far as I had gone so far. My graphic driver is the latest and all up to date. Ive played around with the forced rendering and double buffering but it doesn't change things. Can anyone else reproduce...

Re: eCabinets 6.2.11.1 update

PS to the above, I,m not sure but I think If you use global modification to change the doors the edging hangs around in the background.

Re: eCabinets 6.2.11.1 update

Hi Clint and Ingbert. Clint, I know you are not allowed to read novels at work but I wrote a lengthy assessment of the problem here. https://www.thermwood.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=82890#p82890 Fortunately I think the time I put in trying to find this nasty little sucker may have paid off. But seriously Forrest, Do you really need all those cabinets?

Re: ERROR: Edge Banding Has Wrong Body

Hi Guys. I have been unable to work out what is going on with this problem and its such a distraction. Is it just me or are other users seeing the same things? Would it make any sense to delete all materials and recreate them as units are re-selected? I don't particularly want to redo all our units ...

Re: Edgebanding on doors

Hi Forrest I think the edge band thing is associated with a few gremlins Maybe you have tracked it down. :D Do you have a edge band material labeled none or do you use the system [None]? I had a material named none, and even now I can create a edge band material named None with zero thickness and ad...

Re: eCabinets Crashes Opening Job

Hi Kerry.
I downloaded your job and tried to load it. I deleted as much hardware as I could. I got the message and typed a different name. It crashed straight away.

I forgot to look at the width it was trying to load. but, Board materials don't have widths so, ㄟ( ▔, ▔ )ㄏ
